we're following breaking news coming in from younkers. a man shot in the parking lot of a burger king. >> reporter: michael, this story is still unfolding. right now we know one man has been shot and is in very serious condition at the hospital. i want to show you the scene here. you can see a lot of detectives here in this parking lot of burger king. on the floor, you can see a lot of markers, bullet casings on the ground, a car they've been looking through for evidence. the shooting happened just after 12:30 this morning. police cordoned off this parking lot and spent most of the morning searching for evidence and questioning witnesses inside this burger king. you can see them with flashlight flashlights going through a black mercedes. it's not clear how many shots were fired or the motive for the shooting. you can see what appears to be the victim's mother yelling "my son, my son." again, that victim was taken to

the hospital. we're waiting to get more information on his condition as well as more information on exactly what happened. of course, as we get more information, we'll bring it to you. that's the latest from here in younkers. >> all right, lori. thank you. meanwhile, new this morning, the parents of a young girl now under arrest for allegedly abducting their own child. this is 42-year-old carlos hicks and 39-year-old jacqueline hendricks. both of them facing custodial interference charges. hicks was also charged with aggravated harassment. police say their daughter, 10-year-old celine hicks, was found in good condition. they say her mother, who does school wednesday afternoon. new this morning, police have a suspect in custody now in the connection to the murder of two women at two different hotels. law enforcement sources tell news 4 36-year-old joseph danclair is being questioned. police believe he spent time with a 35-year-old woman who was
